The announcement confirms participation from major industry players including Capcom, Bandai Namco, and The Pokémon Company, with Nintendo and PlayStation represented by partner booths.

The event is jointly organised by Koelnmesse, Show No Limit, and Online Station. Sony notably did not have a booth at Gamescom last month, a contrast to Nintendo and Xbox, though PlayStation will be present in Bangkok through partner representation. Additional exhibitors for the Bangkok event include 4Divinity, Elementa, Gryphline, Kuro Games, Razer, AMD, and Lenovo.

Business programme and international pavilions

The business area will feature booths from 25 countries and regions, with dedicated pavilions from Austria, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Spain, and Thailand. The programme includes pitch and reverse pitching competitions, with Xsolla sponsoring the “Invest Circle and VIP XPerience, ” a segment designed to facilitate in person meetings between developers, publishers, and investors.

More than 70 speakers from over 20 countries are scheduled to appear across four stages in the business area. The session roster includes presentations from Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart of AdHoc Studio, Zhen Fang, Vice President and Head of International at Roblox, Jane Lau, Head of Production at Tencent, Emilio Coppola, Executive Director of Godot, and Yoan Fanise, Creative Director and Founder of DigixArt.

Keynote and lifetime achievement award

Id Software co-founder John Romero will deliver a keynote titled “Why We Still Make Games” during the event. Romero will also receive this year’s lifetime achievement award, recognising his contributions to the games industry.

Organiser statements on international focus

Prakash Ramajillu, General Manager of Asia-Pacific at Koelnmesse, said the organising team is placing a stronger emphasis on internationality this year. “We are bringing leading global gaming brands to the entertainment area while expanding the business area with more country pavilions, networking opportunities, and greater support for independent developers through the indie area and the Thailand Pavilion, ” Ramajillu said.

The Thailand Pavilion is supported by Thailand’s Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) and the Thai Game Software Industry Association (TGA). Show No Limit CEO Pongsuk Hiranprueck cited the success of the previous edition as evidence of Thailand’s standing in the regional market. “Last year’s success, with over 200,000 attendees, is clear proof that Thailand is not merely a consumer market, but a key driving force of culture and the creative economy at the Asian level, ” Hiranprueck said.

Attendance and industry access

The business area will be open to games industry professionals and media on October 29 and 30. The inaugural Gamescom x Thailand Game Show attracted 206,159 visitors from 95 countries, according to organisers. The previous business area hosted 5,590 professionals from 81 countries over four days.

Further details on the schedule, speaker sessions, and additional exhibitor announcements are expected to be released by the organisers in the months leading up to the event.

Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2026 announces exhibitors including Capcom, Bandai Namco, and The Pokémon Company, plus business programs and John Romero keynote.

[388
9894,9892,9893,9564,9563,9565
post-8535","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-games","tag-bangkok","tag-business-program","tag-exhibitors","tag-gamescom-asia","tag-john-romero","tag-thailand-game-show
["GET
